Thanks for the feature @weriseandshine!! Much love ❤️ “Say hello to Morin Oluwole!
Not only does she have a jaw-dropping resume and hold a prestigious position as the business lead and chief of staff to the vice president of global marketing solutions at Facebook, but she is also a prime source of inspiration as this week’s Woman of the Week.
Morin holds a BA and MA from Stanford University in Human Biology and Sociology and an MA in Management from Columbia University.
In her current role at Facebook, Morin is responsible for developing strategic business solutions that aid in managing top client and agency relationships, such as Michael Kors and American Express. Morin has been at Facebook since September 2006, when it was a small start-up of 200 people, and has focused on Product Marketing (Facebook Pages), Global Partnerships (fashion/luxury), and Digital Sales and Advertising (global Fortune 1000 clients and agencies). Morin’s successful track-record doesn’t stop there, she has also built her own brand Daily by Morin, a life & style fashion portal with over 25,000 followers. “I really thought I would follow the traditional path to becoming a doctor. But while working the overnight shift as an intern at the emergency room, I realized this is not how I envisioned spending the rest of my life. It wasn’t passion. It felt more like an obligation. At that point I went through a period of exploration so I could focus on what I really wanted to do with my life.” After joining Facebook, Morin recognized the value of building relationships and planning. “Throughout my journey, I built great relationships with everyone from working with technology and engineering to our marketing and media partners…Relationships are so crucial in developing one’s own personal career. But at the same time relationships can’t solely get you to where you want to be. I believe opportunity plus planning equals good luck. With the support of people who understand my value, I’ve planned how I wanted my career to advance and taken advantage of opportunities.” #dailybymorin #phenomenalwoman #inspiration #motivation #success #influencer #gogetter #traveler #facebook #sisterhood #stanford

Back in the US of A and already missing this face terribly. New York is the same as ever - got yelled at for using my phone in Customs area (was checking IG likes, obvi), screened extra hard at Customs for my 5 suitcases AND the fire alarm went off at the airport so guard dogs are everywhere. Welcome home ??? 🇺🇸✈️🇫🇷 (at Newark Liberty International Airport)
